Re: Felling of trees
I had a look at the site on Saturday. Hyndburn Works (an Oxymoron if ever I heard one) had cleared away the trunk and branches and left a stump nearly three foot high. It would have taken about five minutes to take it off nearly level with the ground to leave the place looking decent and tidy. Clearly this was too much effort. Or is this something the feasability study didn't envisage?
What is it about Hyndburn Works that makes them incapable of getting a job right first time? It's no wonder they run out of money for repairs when they have to do everything twice.
