Morris Minor's in Accrington
Not a sight you see very often here in Accrington.
There was a meeting of the Morris Minor club at the Peel Park Pub in Accrington on 8th June, 2010.
Smashing little cars eh?

Re: Morris Minor's in Accrington
Spent many a happy hour in Brian Barnes trying to pull a front trunnion of a car that was rocking precariously on top of 2 others to keep my mates minor on the road.
I notice some of them have been slightly tweaked to make them more useable in todays traffic....
Nice cars but I wouldn't like to be in one in a crash today, modern cars are so strong that it will just fold up like wet newspaper

My mates Aunt bought one brand new in the 60s then asked me and him to teach her to drive, not recommended really, well not in those days

Re: Morris Minor's in Accrington
Was watching a TV program only last weekend, on ITV 3 may have been an old Frost or Midsummer Murders (her in doors loves these ) and there was an old Morris Minor in it, Joan commented on the fact because she used to have one

Re: Morris Minor's in Accrington
My dad had an Austin 12 'shootingbrake' - they were called that when they were an estate car with a wooden frame at the back
