Rail Bridge Gone
This of course is looking towards the Station after the Rail Bridge was demolished -- and I wonder if anyone knows what was at position X.

Sorry Mik if you misunderstood the question about X. The location is the same as the other at the bottom of Ormerod St and is looking along Eagle St towards the Rail Station.
There used to be a little structure in the position marked X -- so, what was it ?

Sorry Bagpuss, have another think or ask someone who used that route before the bridge was demolished.

I agree with KSH that it was a little hut where someone used to sell papers from.
