noticed on the pic of broadway .. no one is sitting on the benches for a change... could it be that because theyre steel they would freeze someones backside to the bench ...
 or is it because no one is mad enough to attempt to even get anywhere near ... seeing as there is no grit down ...

Yes that's the Con club. It was lovely on there this morning. The only bit of canal not frozen was under the bridge.
