Margaret - Think me and thee must have been in the same place today, at a similar time (did you go to Aldi?) - I found the town very strangley quiet, even though it was a Wednesday.
Few views around town, one looking up Water Street, one looking down onto Broadway and 3 around the arches in the Bull Bridge area of town. |

Some Pics from today...including Broadway....which as you will be able to see is still treacherous underfoot.
1 & 2) Broadway, this morning 3) Hagg Lodge 4) Supermarket Trolly on Hagg lodge 5) Viaduct......with sunshine on it. 6) Elmfield Hall ...from a distance. 7) Elmfield Hall in winter sunshine.

Atarah, we didn't go to Aldi yesterday......we parked on Argyle St...himself thought it looked safer.
Like you, I usually have my little camera with me.....it can prove useful.

A mixed bunch here - went to a funeral today, explains cemetery photos, called at Peel Park for potatoe pie and peas, explains Coppice Avenue photo (I was born at no.3) and walked home down Avenue Parade, explains snowmen and views in that area.

Lovely pics Wadey, and Atarah, I love the cemetery pics......the one with the shadows of the gravestones is lovely, and the one with the sun....I like the effect.

Doesn't the council put salt or grit down on the small street's? Here in Montreal we've had over 30 cm. of snow in the past 2 weeks, no problem the roads are clean and even the side walks too. But we have "snow" tires on our cars, lol
