It would have to be a sun dial for that

The clock would take up space that the Arndale centre can rent out.
I would like to see it in the market hall. Enough space for it and it would attract people in there, the kids used to love watching it.

There is plenty of space in the market hall for the clock now they got rid of all those silly stalls that people could buy local produce at a good price from.

Stop moaning.

You can still pick up a crocheted gonk in there, relatively reasonably.

A couple of thousand's most reasonable, for wooly art.

My old man used to take my kids(now 31 and 34) to see it too whenever we visited, he couldn't get them away from it, shame it went!

You want money off the people of Hyndburn to support a private company ? Have you thought of becoming a Tory councillor

Re: The Arndale Clock

well the clock wouldn't fit in the Arndale OR the market hall this week, they both have cars shoved in there at the moment

Or a Stanley supporter. I remember them out with the begging bowls asking the people of hyndburn to support a private company.

What's the difference?

Technically I would say there isn't one. If he wants to become a Stanley supporter I'm sure they would welcome him

So it's ok to ask the people for money when its something you want and not for things others want

The clock might attract more people into town than the football team.
