Beware, churchfc, you are only supposed to post ten pics per day max. Any more and the mods will be on to you.

Gorgeous pics -karma sent (look on your profile to see!)

Only ever been over the struggle on 4 wheels - hard work even then!

Will look at it set to music when I've a bit more time -off to make pizza for the hungry hoardes!

What's the bit of water you can see?

could be a winchat, there was loads of em all fluttering around the crags, it was bout 7;30 isn, although i was on the summit, the air was still, not even a gentle breeze, and the sun was the only thing in the sky, peacefull doesnt do it justice, first pedestrians didnt show up until about 9, had the whole place to myself from about 4:30pm to 9am, recommend it to anyone!

If you had the place to yourself, how are you taking the pictures of you on a peak?

Re: Today in pictures

just use the timer, and take a small lightweight tripod, however i broke that thursday, it was horizontal on my pack and i knocked the head off going through a gate, i think the one you are talking about i had the camera resting on a cairn, enough time to press and get in position, so its a staged pose, but thats why i do it from back, and it draws you in to see what i am seeing, well thats the attempt lol,

Re: Today in pictures

Today in Picture, I'm chasing my tail again.

1. Five seconds from Gt Harwood main street.
2. Same place just turned around. It felt like places of my youth.
3. A squirrel introducing itself in Mercer Park. He said he was called Cyril.
4. Lower Barns street.
5. Hyndburn Brook Weir, and wet socks.
6. I'm off with my fungi again.
7. Ditto.
8. What happened here, a car bumper in a tree, and a sunken canoe.
9. Spagnum moss growing on a tree branch, anybody got a ladder............help
