I can see you are getting the fungi infection that plagues me , I don't know that walk, sort of seen it from a distance but never tramped around it. Nice to see new places.
Gremlin asked me if I could get some photos of mechanical things while I am away on my hols... just looked through my last holiday snaps and found a few ships and other things as we were coming into Harwich. Hope this will do for now!
Pilot boat coming alongside
Container ship and cranes at Felixstowe on the other side of the river
Tug at stern of the ship
Another one at the bow
Two platforms in the river
Don't know what this is for...
Refuelling vessel
As above, with container ship in background
Refuelling vessel alongside
We stayed in Suffolk after leaving the ship - this is Sizewell B power station

I will have to take a qualms tablet after all that bobbing about.
Try the Rhine cruise one day Susie, do the whole hog right up to Basel.
Make sure you have your camera, all I had was a video camcorder.
Second trip we came back to Koblenz and then up to Trier, once again no camera.
If you don't mind going back to 1961 here is a photo of me working a lathe, now you see why I am interested in machinery.
A visit to the engine room is a must for me on any boat.

Have been down the Rhine three times by car and train but never by boat. Also done Koblenz to Trier down the Mosel, again in the car. No pics at all!
Nice pic of you, you look very engrossed in what you're doing - whatever that is!

1. Looking in the direction of Read.
2. Well you would expect some wouldnt you? and this walk is a mass of fungal infections.
3. Talk about a big clump!
4. I havent seen her for years.
5. A big bracket on a branch, nice colours.
6. This looked like a flower until I got close.
7. This is where the railway line went over the River Calder.
8. I might have gone off piste for this shot, as I am not sure if its a path, but better to beg forgivness than ask for permission and not get it.
9. Stopped for a moment of reflection.
10. Thats a lot, should I count them ? Nah dont think so.
Some good photos again, is that the bridge that runs over Calder just past Great Harwood - do you ever look for edibles and eat them?
It is , it is at the bottom of Martholme Lane.
Eating them is a whole new ball game, you have to set off with the means to identify, something to put them in , and then get them home.
My reason for being there is to take the dog for a walk, and whilst on my travels take photos, anything else would be a distraction from my quest.

Put them in a ruck-sack that's what I did when I got some of those Cep/ Penny Bun Bolete mushrooms.
Yeh there is only two of those type bridges in Accy the other is in the town centre.
