Re: Today in pictures
I took a little walk along the canal bank this afternoon...the length of the canal was frozen, there was just a small section under the bridge near the Con club where the ice had not formed.
The poor ducks were slipping and sliding along the ice.........and some were sleeping in the watery sunshine(bet their bums were frozen...not to mention their poor feet).

Re: Today in pictures
Yes and the deep blue of the sky reflected onto the dark ice.
The sun was low and very bright, I walked home almost blinded by it......and my fingers and toes were like icicles...so I pitied the ducks and swans.

Sorry Margaret I was giving you karma on this post and I think it may have been red instead of green -will ask Neil if he can change it -if I'm right!

Re: Today in pictures
Lovely set of pictures again Dave you are a very intrepid photographer getting down in the freezing weather to take some of those pictures. Beautiful frosty shots and I love the sunset and the picture with the stile especially.

Oops!
As to the Tourettes - no tics but plenty of distractedness...must try harder ..........to concentrate on what I'm doing!

Re: Today in pictures
Oh mine aren't Uggs...they are fitflops...much better for my feet and my posture(when I wear other boots my hips and knees ache and I get low back ache - these benefits were found out by accident).
Yes...imagining the duck in my raspberry boots does make me smile.

Re: Today in pictures
Today in Pictures, just a quick tootle around the woodlands.
1. Woodlands in Winter.
2. Frost on a bramble.
3. In the middle of the woodlands.
4. A frosted fungus.
5. A touch of frost.
6. A fungus with a woolly jumper on.
and with that shopping beckoned, I was beside myself with joy.
