Jen those pics are lovely...I like the sweeties(you can all have the whisky - devils wee wee).
I like the pensive picture of Spugs looking down on the graveyard(least I took it to be Spugs)
I like the pyramid...and the picture looking over the town.
You won't be wanting to come home after feasting on this food for the soul.

Re: Today in pictures

Today in Pictures, man in the mist, or were da ell ar we.

1. As we were in the clouds, it was droplet heaven. I even had one on the end of my nose.
2. This was the first solid thing we found since we started.
3. I think this is for protection, I don't see how this will stop you having babies.
4. Another strange stone thing.
5. This is a stream on its way down to the reservoir.
6. This is Hadrian's wall, Sidney Hadrian, he used to work at the chip shop, he bought it.
7. This is a guess, is it a border marker?
8. As we drop down the hill the mist is getting less.
9. Another Hadrian's wall, this time his sisters.
10. Last photo before we hit the reservoir (Churn Clough.)

Just looked it up and the stone in 7 is a boundary marker for Padiham and Hapton Local Board 1892.

Re: Today in pictures

Today in Pictures, more mud than a muddy thing with extra mud.

1. The mild spell is bringing out a few flowers, its a periwinkle, ( pause for a mild titter ) then pause again for that.
2. I though this would be a bit squishy, put it was solid when I poked it with my finger.
3. This was on the same branch.
4. Hyndburn Brook as it changes shape, the high water level erodes the soft banking.
5. Miles from anywhere, its almost an Ood a thowt it.
6. You can see the banking dropping into the water.
7. The brook as it heads toward the dip.
8. The banking as it is eroded, should I be standing here.........aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... .....no.
9. Its going dark now, its a good job I have a torch, trouble is its in the car, and the car is at home.
10. Where the water wets the weir.
