So there I was in my one man tent, just light the primus and sorted a brew out, zipped up the flap to get out of the cold and sat back to drink it. There was a tap on the flap, and the zip was undone, this bloke poked his head through the space and said Look if your not going to buy it, can you leave Winfield's site.................... just being silly again.

It looked better when I got it on the computer, wasn't sure on the camera screen. I think 9 & 10 are my faves.

It could all be gone by tomorrow if the weather stays like it is, that means back to tramping through mud.

Re: Today in pictures
Today in Pictures, on the level today.
1. Yesterday I was up there tramping through snow drifts.
2. Last years Teasel seed head.
3. You wouldn't want that on the end of your nose.
4. Hapton quarry and the start of Hameldon Hill.
5. One side of the viaduct.
6. The river Calder as it heads for Whalley.
7. The other side of the viaduct.
8. Looking across to Whalley Nab.
9. Finishing off with a Burdock seed head outline, against a clear blue sky.
With that we were back at Mill Lane.

Re: Today in pictures
Expecting snow here again tomorrow apparently ...great photos all, love the contrast of Dave's last walk -spring is definitely round the corner!

It arrived with a whoosh and left just as quick, although we have had a bitter wind blowing today. It doesn't feel like spring is expected just yet

Hope not - we haven't had a proper winter yet. I hate it when people wish away seasons.
