Today in Pictures, service is interrupted for a while due to a family crisis, however managed a few shots on short walks.
First two, Dean Clough Reservoir on a day when the rain was horizontal, then two shots of Cutwood reservoir from the same position, it was that windy I had to duck tape my flat cap on.

was looking through some of my old pics, and thought i might share some with you, they are about 2 years old, just to show im not a boring one trick pony who only takes pictures of landscapes (although that is my fave) so have thrown in a few, the portraits are
a self portrait, messing with the light and shadows on that one
the woman in both is mrs church, on the rare occasion i talked her into modelling for me
the lad with the ball is my youngest
the rest were taken in the back garden
summat a bit different for your day
hope you enjoy

I think you are very brave showing your bum on here, I tried it,....... but didn't have a wide angle lens,......... and ended up with a photo of a pencil sharpener

I see you have met my son then, I call him a bum too, however he argues he is a student, as for brave I thought society was a lot more tolerant of " the gingers " lol

I just saw the Land Rover Gremlin posted on the competition -I was going to post this pic of friend Dave's Land Rover taken part way up on the way to the Kirkstone Pass from Ambleside. It's not past it's best though -it has all been galvanised piece by piece, down to the last bolt and has been brought back to life so it looks like new -took 2 years of patient restoration in a garage in Rishton! It's a great vehicle to knock about in in the Lakes and always draws a lot of comments.
