Wish we were there on your walk, but we went to St.Annes on the Sand Dunes with one of Max's mates Dylan the Border Collie who was on holiday there
brilliant pics Jen. If I could have got the pork to leap into the oven by itself...I would have been there with you.
It looks and sounds like you had a very pleasant walk.

I am sure we will do it again Margaret.
I enjoyed it but didn't make it all the way to the end.
We turned round with about a quarter mile to go.
Very sedate stroll, plenty of benches to sit upon and lots of little things for Dave to get his trousers wet bending down to photograph them.
I am sure Jen will invite us again and if anybody who wants to go and needs a lift to Baxenden don't hesitate to ask me.
No dogs or smokers allowed in car.
I have just had a jacket spud followed by rice pud and half a bottle of Best Aussie white plonk, got into my night attire and will soon be in bed absolutely exhausted, but in a happy sort of way.
Thanks for the afternoon out Jen and an excellent pot of coffee.
By the way, the offer of a lift only extends to within a couple of miles from Accrington so don't ask DiG.
New toy! Did the deed & picked up a Lumix FZ62 so having a proper play.
Distant wind turbine, seen from the balcony, the Grimlin, a wildy & an escapee in the garden.
the factory is a straight line distance of about 3km

I have the TZ30, 20X optical zoom and 20X digital with 14MP sensor, very handy little pocket camera, smaller version of yours but fits in my inside pocket easily. All the settings you need but Intelligent auto is the one I use most.
The Nikon D7100 with all my lenses is getting a bit heavy to cart around, especially with the 800mm lens, that has its own tripod bracket.
The little Lumix with the Leica lens is almost as good in most situations and the one I use more than the Nikon..
I have been trying to upload today's photographs to the site but it keps saying web error and refuses to upload them. I have even resized them down to below the accepted level but still no joy.
Today in Pictures, Accy Webber's on the rampage, I say rampage perhaps a meandering.
1. I think she said "don't come home until teatime".
2. Wet bits with ducks.
3. This time ducks with wet bits.
4. Looking back at the gate we just came through.
5. This is tucked away over a bridge and round a corner.
6. I found a sculpture, well not so much found as came across it, well not so much came across it, as had it pointed out to me by Jen (shillelagh) I would have walked straight passed it without noticing.
7. On the way to Shoe Mill.
8. Entrance to Shoe Mill.
9. Now I think this might be a first, if you go to page 320 post 4799 picture 5 you can see me taking this photo and I think Jen got my arse just right.
10. Last shot of the outing, cup of tea time.
