Yes, I can see that now - embarrassed to say I was just looking at it artistically. Must be as a result of the hot summer you had. We had a hot summer over here too, but it came with lots of rain. And storms - sometimes scary ones!
It would be nice to sleep at night, but I am coughing myself awake, so feel a bit like a wet window cleaners chamois at the moment. I just hope I have peaked and its better from here on in.
I always get a nasty cough with my colds too. Nothing to do but ride it out, as so-called cough remedies don't do a thing. I usually spend the night on the couch, propped up with pillows to remain semi-vertical. Take care of yourself, and keep your gusset dry for a time!

I think you might have just nailed my problem, I have got "trench crotch" I never thought of that as the cause.
Today we walked around the woods and reservoirs at Roddlesworth .I only took my compact camera as I didn't want to get my DSLR camera wet, so the pics aren't as good
Our first time up Pendle Hill.
1. Could do with a stannah for this bit.
2. What`ve you found.
3. Daisy admiring the view.
4 & 5. At the top.
6. I don`t know what it`s for either.
7. At least someone`s getting some sunshine.
8. This bit`s slippery.
9. All them trees have to be chopped down.
10. Low clouds now cover the top.

A good compact camera can produce pictures just as good as a DSLR, I see nothing wrong with your selection.

Number 6 is another of those trig points again, you have captured some of those cloudy skies that Pendle has a lot of.
It's been a disappointing fall here, colour-wise. Now it's raining and drab, with most of the leaves down. Luckily I took a few snaps from the car last week... not great photography-wise, but they may bring you all some colour on a lazy Sunday afternoon (evening for you).
