They love their walkies, unfortunately, this time of year means weekends are the only time I can let them have a good run around. It`s too dark by the time I get home from work, so they have to stay on the lead.
I think we all have photos that didn't turn out as expected, perhaps that's a new thread in itself, "What went wrong". I have more than a few shots of my boots and up my nose, but that's just clumsiness.
I have a great photo of my walking stick as I went up the Lion and the Lamb near Grasmere -was a real slog of a climb...

Reason: Afterthought...
Decided to try out some night photography, some are from tonight in the rain, a couple from last week.
1. The church on New Lane.
2. The view from Duckworth Hill Lane.
3 & 4. The Viaduct.
5 & 6. Saint James Church.
7. Waiting for Soapy to finish work.
Today in Pictures, It was a damp, dismal day and muddy underfoot, so that's muddy strides and a dog dirty well passed his plimsoll line.
1. Some fungi still bursting out in between the cold bits.
2. Have you met our Ivy.
3. Is it me, or is it a bit scary.
4. Life on a fence post.
5. A muddy ascent.
6. The visibility is getting worse, how do you get to that seat ?
7. One side of the viaduct.
8. And the other.
9. And the top, there are talks about getting this footpath opened again.
10. On the way back, there are lots of people using the golf links, but not here.

Some nice shots there, did you use a tripod ? That viaduct is a good subject.

Its easier to take night snaps in the winter as its dark around teatime, however the days are now slowly getting longer which makes night shots and sunsets a bit harder to get. Still the nights getting shorter gives us the warm days to look forward to.
