I should have said, when I was in Jamaica that is. No swimming pools in action over here at the moment! I spent the better part of this afternoon trying to chip ice off my driveway.
Today in Pictures, a walk on Pendle Hill, Out in the sunshine, back in the dark.
1. Looking in the direction of Burnley.
2. It mustn't be hungry, it wont take bread.
3. I've frightened it off now.
4. Churn Clough Reservoir.
5. Its a wibbly wobbly wall.
6. It rude to point.
7. A small crop of droplets.
8. The sun is going down, and its time to head for the car.
9. The temperature is starting to fall now the sun is on the horizon.
10. With a final burst of colour it was over.
No, you didn't jump the gun at all. It was your pics I was referring too.
They were the sort I wish I had captured. I did think that 8 was HDR.....even though it is very well executed.....by that I mean it looks natural.
Some HDR shots don't look a bit natural.
With so many good pics on this thread, I thought it was a bit arrogant on my part to assume you were complimenting mine. Glad you liked them.
Today, along the canal to Castle Clough, then up the coppice.
Great shots with the bird-life, love the glimpse of Spire's Farm in 9 and 10 is an iconic pic of the viaduct -well worth the wait for the train!

I love number 3 and number 6 is my favourite which is perhaps the least obvious choice. All great shots - some wonderful clouds and colours.

Nice pics as usual Dave, I kept looking over that way wishing I`d gone up pendle today in the sunshine.
It was very busy up Pendle today, with para gliders, model plane flyers, dog walkers, bike riders, and barm pots with cameras, well one at least. It was nice to get a long walk in as we have only been managing short walks lately.

Did the barm pot with the camera give you any tips Dave?
Another great set of shots.

A super collection of shots - I can't pick a favourite as they're all great
