A wander down into Callao Selvaje and the beach this afternoon where they were playing Petanque. Had a tonic water in the new beach bar - great views. Then on my way home I spotted 3 paragliders who landed down on the beach. The map of the Canaries, with Tenerife and Teide in relief above the islands, is on the side wall of a house and the statue is on a nearby roundabout -both in the residential area called "Sueno Azul" or Blue dream. Dark clouds inland over the mountains today but was a glorious sunny day here on the coast -had a long swim in the pool in the morning, gammon for a late brunch and now an evening of TV with "Strictly" etc to end a perfect Sunday!

Today in Pictures, it was a muggy cold day, not very interesting photography wise.
1. For some reason that hump is called Legolass Hill.
2. Visibility is not very good.
3. Back at my jetty again.
4. Round the top end of Upper Dean Clough Reservoir.
5. Looking down the length of the reservoirs and off into the mist.
6. It is not a very colourful time of year, but there is always something giving it a go.
7. I'm just mooching at this point.
8. It seems like ages since the sheep were getting some shade under this tree.
9. Round the bottom of the reservoir and back to the car.

Love number five and the name of the hill in number one is very interesting as Legolas is the name of one of the elves who is part of Tolkein's Fellowship of the Ring

1. The view over the moors.
2. Not sure what that is.
3. Ashworth Moor Reservoir.
4. Owd Betts.
5. Presumably Ashworth Moor.
6 & 7. Man and dog working together, well the dog was doing all the work.
8 - 10. I could have watched this beauty all day, he/she was having none of it though and flew off over the moors.

Super shots - I really like No.1. Well done capturing the hawk in flight! Do you know what species it is?
