I like these cobbles - in Bruges, one of my favourite cities. The cobbles slow the city centre traffic down which makes for a relaxed pace. Thought you might like the bikes, Margaret.

Very fond of Belgium as a whole, beer and food especially!

I can think of worse ways to put on weight!! Actually perhaps I should take a trip to Belgium... have been striving to put weight on all year after being ill - have managed 7 kilos/just over a stone since January.

Well done for the weight gain Susie, I hope its making you feel better - I can recommend the cake diet for weight gain, it's doing me no good at all! In fact I've just allegedly treated myself to a load of fruit and veg in an attempt to wean myself off it so that I can do the opposite to you!
Cake and Cadburys chocolate does it for me every time!

Thank you Anne, yes it does make me feel more myself. The hospital dietitian gave me a leaflet which basically states the obvious - full cream milk (which I hate - don't like cream either), chocolate, sugary things and lots of small meals/snacks. Keep bowls of sweets and nibbles about and add milk, cream etc to soups and things. Having now reached my target I am eating more fruit etc which is easier in the summer - I just love cherries and nectarines, bought some today, also melon.

Thanks for that info Jen...some pics load like a dream and others don't(one of the barge pictures wouldn't load despite being very similar to one that did load)...it would be good if the message came up 'file too big' instead of 'file failed to load'.....anyway It did load eventually.

Mick is going to come along any minute now and give me some technical explanation
