Arrghhh! My sympathies fellow sufferer. I managed to dodge that one, thankfully.
Our forecast was for 2cm You might notice that we had a shiiteload more than that. Good news is that most of it will be gone tomorrow. Predicted highs: around +7.
A mixed batch - 3 pics of the Subutteo finals in our local commercial center the other day. Yesterday evenings sunset behind my house then a selction from todays walk - quite a few folk about which was nice for a change, exchanged a bit of small-talk!

Great Pics Dianne. It's surprising how many folk are out on a nice day and are talkative.

Today in Pictures, a quick walk around the Millennium Baby Wood and back through St Mary's burial ground.
1. Its a bit soon for a picnic.
2. Perhaps just a bag of scratchings then.
3. As the temp gets up a bit, these will finish.
4. Assuming the All Jolson position.
5. Still there.
6. A pollened up Pussy Willow.
7. Coltsfoot hoping for some sun.
8. Oi.....where you going.
9. I've just weed picking a weed.
10. And here we are, finishing line.
I have a selection of photos taken this afternoon to show the development of the building work that's going on. Lots of new cement being laid and all the fittings in the barn are being completed. You can see the reflection of some curious heifers if you look in the wet cement on one pic. Final photo was taken yesterday evening of some animals at pasture. Am really pleased with that one, I have printed it today along with a selection of other photos around and about the farm. I have framed them and they are now gracing my office - it's really nice to see some of my photos in print and I have received quite a few compliments!

You say its to show the development, but I noticed a lot of shots of men bending over.
Its good to print out photos, if you don't show them off, people will not see them, and its good to take them from the digital form into something you can hold.
Today in Pictures, some days are just not your own, and today was one of them. Another trip to the Pals centre had me mooching around Platts Lodge again. I decided I had taken to many photos recently of this area so I would try to photograph it differently today.............So I went out in a pink frock and to add a bit of danger didn't wear any knickers......which made it a tad difficult for my Tenna Lady...........but Gaffer tape sorted that.
Right, back to reality
1. Marestails again, this time with the sun shining through the stem.
2. If it's not wet you aren't doing it right.
3. Just for something different.........this photo is upside down.
4. This is the right way up.......but a little moist.
5. A few droplets just to get me on the ground again.
6. Coltsfoot, in the shadow of the apartments.
7. It took ages to get them to all swim in the same direction.
8. That's a repair bracket for the cast iron stanchions.
9. It's a favourite spot for the locals to feed the ducks, geese etc.
10. And with the final shot, my time in the sun was over......and with all that bending over my bums sunburnt.
