You do realise Frank with those specifications, and 20 mega pixels you are going to have to go into training for throwing yourself about a bit, and jumping into streams. Big cameras carry big responsibilities, I started at home just falling off the chair, and sitting in the sink, the wife got a bit narked, she was trying to wash the pots.
On a serious note,nice camera
I read that wrong.....I thought it said 'and sitting in the sink, the wife got a bit naked'....I'm going to have to get myself off to Specsavers....except they told me at my last visit, the next prescription will be for a black dog and a white stick. This is not good news for a budding photographer. ME!

you going to get fed up of the pics of my garden ... I had a wander without a crutch yesterday ... ok im paying for it now but still without a crutch ...
Don't go overdoing it, although its always a pleasure to view your photos, and like to think the urge to get differing photos helps you get mobile, but as I said.........take it slowly

I used to do that, but my wife made me take the pots out first, oh you said sitting.......wait for me we will go to specsavers together, as for her getting naked, the last time I saw that, I told her that her tee shirt wanted ironing...........she said "I haven't got dressed yet, I'm in the shower".
Gp24, with other folks on the Swan & cygnets, good piccy, also in your last shot was that a Helicopter 2/3rds right just above 1/2 way up, or was there something on your lens?

Out & about earlier with the Hound went to the old airfield, plenty going on if you're a bit of an aviation Anorak (yes I fit into that category) so it was piccys all round of Airyplanes!
Airyplanes - Boeing Stearman x4 (Incidentally the pilot was a young Lass) - Piper Super Cub x3 - Robin DR 400/180R & for those of you not interested in Airyplanes one of the Hound after her assistance with the decorating (paint on her head & lugs)
Max is good at painting, I was painting the fence panels between us and next door with red cedar and the tops of the panels were wet. So he had to put his paws up and rest his chin to watch. He ended up witha thin red line all across the front of his white chest.
Today I cast off the domestic shackles and burgered off for the day....to Halifax.
1 - 5 have been edited to HDR with snapseed.
5 - 10 are just how they came.
1) looking through one of the archways in the town centre.
2) the clock tower on the Town Hall
3) In at the top door of the Market hall(the Market Hall is very similar toAccringtons....but more stall inside)
4) Galvanized buckets - you don't see them very often.
5) the clock inside the Market hall. I can't remember if this has always been there or if it is a new clock done in an old style.
(it is 50 years or mores ince I was last in Halifax so it is all very hazy in my memory)
6) Clock tower of the Town Hall...seems to go on into space.
7) Town hall clock tower viewed from a distance.
8) this is getting to be a bit of a theme......the clock in the Market Hall.
9) that archway from a different angle.
10) The Market Hall....I did wait for the crowds to pass along
I had a very enjoyable day...but the bus ride gave me a square BTM.

I reall went to Halifax so that I could go and see the Piece Hall and take photographs there.
Alas, the piece Hall is closed and will be so until 2016.....it is being refurbished. I could be an angel by then!
To say I was disappointed is a bit of an understatement.

Despite it being Yorkingshire, Halifax is a pretty lively place with plenty going on. We visited a couple of years back with friends from over that way, picked up some "Proper bar'gins" on the market too!

Oh, I didn't go to shop......I went to take pictures.
Had only enough for some snap and a drink on me......that way I'm not tempted.
I will certainly go back......and one day soon when the sun is shining I will stop off at Hebden Bridge. That place was jumping today. There was some kind of shenanigans going on up on Stoodley Pike.....people were going up there with their picnic baskets......and the brass band was lugging their Tuba's up there too.
The canal was full of colourful barges.....people and dogs were taking in the gentle May sunshine...in fact I would have got more pics had I jumped off the bus there today.......Piece Hall was calling me.....just to tell me it was shut. Shame it whispered in my deaf ear.
