For an Iphone5 those indoor aquarium shots are very good, and the jellyfish has interesting colours.
Thanks davemac. Using my cell phone camera has become a bad habit, I think, and one I hope to work on. Just laziness, really. Sometimes though it comes in handy, as it's always with me
The jellyfish shot was fun to try for. The background colours kept changing. When it turned fluorescent pink the jellies had this unearthly glow!

Its one of those pictures that would look good printed out and framed, A5/A4 possibly.
1. A Green Veined Butterfly on a Spanish Bluebell, bigger and not as arched as the native variety, they cross pollinate and the pink ones are the result.
2. Its very green now.
3. There were no leaves on the trees on my last visit.
4. Is someone watching me !
5. The channelled stream runs through the centre of the site.
6. The native Bluebell.
7. Red Campion.
8. A drift of London Pride, they can only be here after someone dug them up from their garden and dumped the spoil here, a common way cultivated plants escape into the wild.
9. Ramsons, (wild garlic) they smell of kebabs with garlic sauce on.
10. Not a common site, Spanish Bluebells, with the cross bred pink variety, and the not so common white variety, plus the Green Veined Butterfly is in the picture.

It's interesting: the Spanish ones seem to have fewer blossoms too. They're pretty, but the native ones are preferable, in my book.
Number 1 and number 7 are lovely close ups - perfectly focused

Jen...Bob is the most amicable dog you could ever meet...I am sure he wouldn't mind.
Yes, the trees look lovely when full of blossom but they make a heck of a mess when the blossom falls....but it is a clean mess.

Today, we went for a wander around Pendle Hill, the weather was fine to start with, but then...it wasn`t. The clouds came down and so did the rain. If it wasn`t for an Iphone app that tracks your route, I think i`d still be there now.
