I`ve been trying to get a pic of that bird in 2 & 3 for a few weeks (Grey Heron I think), seen it down by the river, on the canal and various ponds but it flys away before I can get anywhere near.
Nice birds, and the moon has a lot of detail, I just get a blurry white spot when I try.
I had a go shooting the moon a few weeks ago one early morning when I saw it was pink

Have some been removed then? They are a nice sequence of colours in the moon shots. Like Dave, I can't get any definition with my camera when I try to capture the moon.
The cat is lovely - I used to have one just the same called Rufus. I like the photo with the three window panes especially.

I think your photographs are improving, if that doesn't sound to condescending , the first one is a cracker, followed swiftly by a splasher.

I agree you've come on leaps and bounds - a bit like the dog in the first picture I didn't realise you'd encouraged him to jump -not as critically observant as Dave. I envy the way you can get birds too , I can't get near enough. Lovely reflections and I like what you did to the sky in number 4 too.

Great photos of the heron -especially the second one -am envious! Looks like the weather is good nice blue skies reflecting in number one.

Weird perspectives there Restless - but then I'm suffering from vertigo at the moment (not joking about that unfortuately!)
The pics were captured using The mode photo sphere.... which you've seen before from me... The mode that is designed to create a photo that is a 360 pannible (is that a word) from the photographer's perspective. But in these photos I just simply do not complete the arduous process of the entire 360.... Which creates IMHO a better and larger panoramic photo....if not a confusing one

Thanks m, it was on the lodge at the side of Asda this (glorious) morning.
I stalked it thinking it may fly off as I got close, turns out it wasn't fazed in the slightest by my presence

Looks like a young one compared to the ones I've seen before, it was on the lodge at side of Asda.It wasn't fazed by me walking right passed it (maybe it was fishing for breakfast).

Taking pics of some of the places you see is DANGEROUS . I do not condone or encourage breaking the law or unsafe behavior.
Todays pics have a theme, they can all fly (or will be able to in time) -
1. Got the Heron, to get any closer I will need a boat.
2. Or a crop.
3. After that you are going to have to swallow a spider, then after that it`s cannibalism
4. These things are fast as ....
5. Too slow, I wanted to catch it beak in water.
6. Gosling eating bread.
7. Resting on a wall.
8. An experiment, this thing was hovering a few feet in front of me.
I went off on my bike today - stopping in Cortetano to see the donkeys which are used for riding for the disabled -they were having their hoofs trimmed. The rest are in the village -more tomorrow...
