After quite a knackering week, I could only manage a short walk around Lower Foulridge Reservoir -
I noticed you are adopting a low stance in some of your shots, especially around water, it may be worth taking precautions to avoid a moist gusset before its too late.
If I've learned anything from you Dave, moist gussets should be embraced not avoided.
I am not saying avoid completely, but avoided until you have taken precautions. I recommend Dubbin, but not just any Dubbin, I find the neutral to be best, I did experiment with the brown and black Dubbin but looked at in the right direction your gusset could take on the appearance of either an Oak hat stand or a bag of nutty slack, in that order.
Today in Pictures, Spring Woods was busy today, families enjoying the warmth and sun.
1.I have been waiting for this, very common but until you get your eye in difficult to spot.
2. Common Spotted Orchid, flowers through June and July, the only place it doesn't grow is the Scottish Highlands.
3. There are dark clouds over there.
4. Looking over the top of Whalley.
5. Still over the top of Whalley, with a view of Longridge Fell.
6. Now the Bluebell, Ramsons, and other spring bulbs have finished, the only colour at the moment comes from Rhododendrons.
7. A thread of colour drifts into the green.
8. Sheep drifting across the plains.
9. Another burst of colour.
10. A herd of British Fighting cows being trained at a secret location.
