The people who stood there were all volunteers from the crowd and I don't think they had any contact with the show previously.
They did take a little bit of persuasion apart from the young girl in the white.
The "Indian" also had a bull whip and used it to cut paper in his partners hands.
She held the strip of paper and it slowly got smaller until her fingers were only two inches apart. he was a bout 8 feet away. I did notice she closed her eyes for the last crack of the whip.

From what I can see, it looks like the small flowered willow herb, not as "blousy" as the large willow herd that looks you in the face, this one is often overlooked as it is small and not covered in flowers like its cousin
I like the photo of the two insecty things ( No.8) Margaret. I wonder if it was father and son out for a stroll.
Those are two damsel flies(I think) and they are definitely not father and son!

you can ask davemac and gremlin about the tedster they've met him!!!
he'd been running about the garden for a couple of hours and then came in the house and curled up and slept for about an hour .. then came and bugged me to take him for a walk so I did do .. and then he planted his feet and wouldn't go no further and turned his back and started walking home!!! little stubborn sod he is ...

Tedster is OK as long as you keep a leads length away, otherwise he will strangle your ankles.

Nice Lincoln I agree with you on the Mustang ... I had a '67 Mustang with a 390 cu in ... back in the day when cubes ruled and gas was 45 cents a GALLON It was all downhill after the Yom Kippur War
Not from today; but here's what's under the hood of my Caddy ... I like a V8 ... old fashioned and politically incorrect, I know; but I'm that way.
Nice African Grey parrot. I see it's been plucking - they're very sensitive birds emotionally and it's a common problem with them (I used to have one).
Yes, it's a beauty T,totally crackers but still a lovely bird.
It's been left while its owners are away in France and I assume it's a little stressed due to its new surroundings etc.
Today I walked the canal bank, to whalley road...then down to Hyndburn Bridge.
I got pics of the bridge over the river stink...the one Dave told me about...and then made my way to the field to see the donkeys........but the donkeys were right over the very far side of the field.....could see their legs but not much else.
Had to make do with shetland ponies...and shetland pony foals....aaaaahhhhh!
But you will have to wait until tomorrow to see these pics

A mixed selection taken around the farm this evening -hot off my memory card. Lots of swallows busy raising their young -these are low down in the pump room of the milking parlour. The new building extension which will house 150 extra cows is going up quickly - like a giant mechano set. A couple of shots of hay around the farm (they're busy doing the second cut of the year today), some of the farm cats and new kittens and finally I caught 91 yr-old Remo passing the gate on his way home after his daily constitutional - he is now in his summer gear!

Nice summer selection, number 9 looks like it has a story attached if I hadn't seen the ones either side.
