Re: Today in pictures
Not really very good photos as they are night-time shots and my camera doesn't have the credentials. I don't have a tripod so it's hard to stay still for the long exposure. Tried some resting the camera on the back of a chair but the best result came from me sitting on the chair and holding my breathe!
Last night's full moon which was the biggest we've had for 20 years apparently. It appeared in a nice spot in front of my house photographically speaking being framed by poplar trees and the roof of the farm chapel. Shame they aren't a bit clearer but you'll get the idea!

Re: Today in pictures
I wasn't prepared to go swimming outside last night Dianne to look for the moon. It was raining very hard and thick clouds when I peeped out so I abandoned the idea of photographing it, shame really it would have been a nice challenge.

1&2. Don`t think this was part of the show

If that's the airshow, when you've finished for the day take a trundle down the bypass towards Liverpool, you'll pass RAF Woodvale & if you're lucky the Lanc & other classic aircraft will be parked on the apron. This was from a couple of years ago.

Re: Today in pictures
We were in Southport on Saturday and I am sure one of the Lancaster bombers flew overhead.
I had just put the camera away and got the two zip openers tangled up and couldn't get the camera out of the bag quickly enough. I stood for a good while hoping to see it fly back, it didn't happen. Was kicking myself all the way along the pier.
I would have loved to get a shot of the plane in the air.

Yes, if i`m free i`ll be going. I`m hoping to park near Woodvale, I know someone who lives right next door to it.
