A wet day here, too ... I guess I could've taken a few pics; but I can't find my camera Not to worry, I'll pour a stiff one ... smoke a little black in my Bob Marley pipe ... and enjoy a welcome, cool, wet break from the heat of the last four days. Feeling a little melancholy ... time for a little a la recherce du temps perdu.

Number four is an absolute stunner! I also like number three, as the line of trees across the top of the hill is a typical Lancashire scene, to me. Occasionally I see something like that over here, and it reminds me of home

1. A half second exposure, he doesn`t usually sit still for so long.

4-6. There`s a fog coming.
7. Not a ripple on the canal.
Mine for today, a wander around the Dunk then up around the canal, then back along hyndburn brook.
