Today in Pictures, a bit of a contrast, coal to coastline.
1. So small its almost invisible, but I don't know what it is.
2. Last year this plant was covered in Butterflies, not a one this year.
3. Although I have never seen so many Brambles heavy with fruit.
4. Once part of the coal sidings.
5. A teasel basking in the sun.
6. Almost like magic, Cleveleys on a bracing day.
7. lets start with a sandy knee.
8. Where should I put the deckchair!
9. What just ran over my foot.
10. I just gave that a push, I ended up with Groyne strain...........sometimes I'm just too subtle even I don't get it.
Dave, I like your coastal pictures.....they are beautiful.
Like you, I have seen few butterflies this year.....and it isn't because I haven't been looking.

It was extremely windy at the coast, but that didn't matter as I have not been to Cleveleys for over 10 years and it has changed that much on the shoreline that I hadn't time to see it all, so must go back.
I have seen some butterflies this year, but the few I have seen are more active this year, if I try to get close for a snap they dart off.
Very nice
It seems to give good colourful and detail pics (unless it's just your expert photography skills)
Can`t complain about the camera but I think the biggest improvement has come from learning lightroom (still lots to learn on that as well), would like a couple of new lenses but they are expensive, maybe Santa will bring me one if I`m a good boy.
I'm still getting to grips with my Fuji s6500fd it's just finding the time to sit down and mess with the setting (it's usually on auto)
Maybe Santa will bring me something nice if I'm good (I won't hold my breath though)

Personally, I've never used photoshop....the beauty of Lightroom is it's photo cataloguing integration with editing does Photoshop offer the same?
That`s the one thing I dislike about lightroom, just have to put up with it though, getting used to it a bit now.
There is Adobe Bridge, which I think does a similar thing and works with Photoshop, but I`ve never used it.

I think, I'll just stick with Lightroom an the editing software on my iphone....
