A mixed bag today.
Firstly, Turtle mentioned graveyards as a subject for IR photography so I managed to snatch a few minutes in the old Altham Church yard.
Earlier I had been to my mates and his neighbour has a very large house, I didn't realise that half of it was an old barn dating from the start of the 16th century. Inside it is not allowed to be altered in any way and all the roof and beams are original. From the outside you wouldn't know what was within. I been going for twenty years and never guessed what it was.
At her request, no outside photos.
Finally, this creature was knocking at my door looking for food.
I love number two and I also like number four.......they are all good, but those are my favourites.

These were all taken at various points on the Leeds /Liverpool Canal
Some super reflections there and great colour (1,3 &4) - I really like the peaceful feel of number 6 too.

Today's weather is unseasonably cool, but it makes for pleasant walking. During a couple of laps around the fair ground track, I came upon a couple of tractors left over from last weekend's Fall Fair. They appealed to me, so here are a few shots. On the way back to the car, I had to snap some flowers just to balance things out.
You're welcome Gremlin! I thought of you and other guys on this thread who might appreciate a bit of machinery. I actually found these tractors more and more interesting as I walked around them. I think they belong to the town, and will be gone tomorrow.
What a really lovely set of photos - a few of those would be perfect for the current competition. Love the reflection of the castle and bridge and the colour and feel of the first 3, could almost feel the chilly morning air!

Thanks Mobertol, I`d like to enter the comp but don`t want to risk the comp being cancelled by burdening Mick with extra work uploading pics for me.
