1. The River Calder, and a factory that is still in use, Altham Oak.
2. St James Church from the far bank.
3. Same shot just a bit further up.
4. You shouldn't play with electricity near water.
Winter Wonderland Just a few randoms ... I'm tired and cold after two hours shoveling; so, screw creativity. Look on the bright side; only another four and a half months to go.
Today in Pictures was a wet and windy experience, and the weather was not much better either.
1. Not a full walk around the park (Oak Hill), just the rockery from the main gate.
2. Its all a bit muggy really.
3. Aiming for the sky.
4. It all feels a bit moist.
5. Heading back to the car.
6. Slight detour.

Ahhhh ... Green! Yellow! Colours in winter other than white.
I really like number 4
Sure you aren't just looking for an excuse to have a long, leisurely soak in the tub with a mega shot of Drambuie? Or better still, an injury that puts you out of the shoveling game until, let's say, next June.
Come to think of it, I'm reminded of an Andy Capp cartoon ... "Flo, you shouldn't be pushing a [snow shovel] like that. Put your back into it."
