More photos of Lake Garda - in and around Gargnano, a trip on the Lake to Malcesine and up to Riva del Garda, before returning to Gargnano. My favourite place on the Lake -a hidden gem!
First batch of 10 starting in Villa di Gargnano -walking through the village and along the walkway by the Lake to Gargnano.
(The stone construction with open sides near the church is a lemon grove. They slot slats of wood into the spaces in winter to protect the lemon trees.)

I think you are an undercover picture postcard photographer.....seconded to the Italian Board of tourism.
These pics are beautiful and should be on Flickr.
I love the balcony shot with the wicker chair.....I can see myself sitting there facing the lake...watching the changing colours of the scenery as the light fades.
Is that your Mum and Dad in picture three of the third set?

Where's that carving on your picture 20, Davemac ?Have searched for it to no avail.
When you walk through woodlands from the Sparth Hotel entrance use the top path that runs close to wilsons playing field, when you get to the carved owl, go left and follow the stream, its half way down on the right. The path will join the top path again in about 15 yards. Hope that helps.

I think this link will take you to panoramics, look at post 156, picture 2, it give a view of the carving from the bottom of the path. the carving is halfway up the bottom path, just visible in this photo.
