Today in Pictures, as Mr g. said we bumped into one another on the edge of the Craggs on Pendle, always nice to put a face to a keyboard. I notice our pictures are very similar, I suppose if we are on the same route, the output must be similar.
1. Looking down at Sabden.
2. Some semi circular wall, perhaps for sheep to shelter, or shepherds.
3. The Craggs in the distance, and a wall vanishing over the hill.
4. The last time I stood here there was snow.
5. I didn't know it at the time but I snapped an Accy Webber.
6. Where the land meets the sky.
7. A cairn that changes in size and shape every time I walk passed it, Churn Clough at the bottom.
8. The fast moving clouds are changing the colours constantly.
9. Just climbed over that style, and now I am stood in the wet bit to take a snap.
10. A well weathered fence post, it could have been here for many years.
Today it was wet and windy, it's no surprise that when I got home my knickers were wet, as was most other things, Calf Hey, Grane Road. Also there was no other soul about, strange that.
Lovely signs of Spring! Number 10 is particularly special. Welcome back Dianne
Thanks Had a succession of problems recently which meant abbandoning the photos for a while. Hopefully will get back fully into the swing of things again soon.

Today in Pictures a slightly disappointing walk, Hameldon Woods, another of my walks that scramble bikes have churned up.
1. More of a day of wet bits, and close ups.
2. To early in the year for professional moistness.
3. So more of a practice.
4. I have a leg on either side of the bank, its a good job I am twelve foot tall.
5. Still very bare looking.
6. The leaves are just responding to the early warmth.
7. But not on a widespread basis.
8. If you look at the bauble closely you will see they have printed a short fat chap on it.
9. Time for a last splash.
10. I will return when the bluebells are out, and hope the scramblers have moved on.
Love your reflection in the bauble Dave - pink is definitely your colour

A few pics (1-4) from a wander up Pendle Hill where I bumped into DaveMac (it was bound to happen evetually), good to meet you Dave, and last pic is from a short detour later down towards the river.

What a pleasant coincidence! While you were looking at the same subjects you have both got your own very personal take on them in the final results. A photographer's signature style I suppose. Great photos by both.

The last photo is a huge lizard (about 1 foot long) which is quite rare, know as a Rammaro locally because of the green colour like copper oxide (Rame is copper in Italian) - a pensioner in the local village called me to take the photos - he has a number who live in his garden! http://www.bpo-natura.de/en/index.php?id=124

Last month's Sunday Flea Market/Antiques market in Cremona. First shot is vintage too - the beautiful 1938 Roll's Royce I came across shortly before the market in my local village, Castelnuovo del Zappa. Note the amazing polish on the body-work.

The Rolls Royce has a Caithness registration. It's a long way from it's original home.
How can you tell that Gremlin? I wonder if the owner knows?
I only had a few words with him - he was taking the car for a spin with his mechanic (wife in the back). First time out after restoration and he said it was from 1938. Do you know what model it is too?

I just had a look on internet and think it could be the model known as The Wraith...
