Today was a walk in the rain up the Coppice, and down again as well.
1. Well it is May, Mayflowers.
2. Its nice to see the fuzzy green return.
3. Time to dip my bum in the water.
4. There are not many Bluebells around the coppice, just a few drifts here and there.
5. Marsh Marigold in a location you would expect, wet bits.
6. Flowering despite the harsh location.
7. The hard paths make a difference, I can come down on my skateboard now.
8. One of those "tucked away" locations.
9. Despite the weather you can feel the grass growing.
10. That's it for today, things are a bit moist, time to head back.

Love the Mayflowers, Bluebells and Marsh Marigolds - I noticed the odd bluebell up the Coppice last year and other flowers where they had thinned the trees out. Hopefully they will take a good hold in time.

I spoke to my aunt about the exhibition at the Library and she told me her favourite photo was one of two springer spaniels - I was wondering if it might have been one of GPicks...

You`re very kind Margaret, but while there were a few photos I didn`t care much for, there were a lot of very good photos in the exhibit.
No, not being kind, just saying that I thought your picture was very very good.....the perspective the range of light and shade, the subject matter was brilliant too.
You were almost expecting the dogs to chase off into the distance.
The top ten didn't float my boat at all.....and to be honest I could not see the skill in the pictures that made it into the top ten.......a rock isn't going to move......nor is a lightbulb or a set of outside bistro furniture.
There were many very good artistic pictures....of which yours was one.
I will go back to the library before the exhibition ends and capture the picture of the eagle in flight......the definition of the feathers, the suggestion of speed was awesome.
It would definitely have been in MY top ten had I been a judge.....sadly i wasn't.

The ones I snapped were tucked away on the top side of reservoir 3 along with the Marsh Marigolds.
