Well Dave, I wasn't going to mention that. I bet you looked very fetching, but you could have chosen some elegant footwear....Boots don't really go with pink organdie...well unless your name is Eddie Izzard!

Agreed Margaret - great photo, pretty sure it's the one my Aunt meant so you got her vote too GPick!

I couldn't resist taking this photo today. Both lorries are actual size and work for a living. The little one is still out delivering coal daily.
When we were younger I thought the Bedford was a big lorry, not now.
Then this Merc, one of only six in the world.
and a little open top motor I would love.
Been away for a couple of nights, went to Snowdonia (and Anglesey on the way home), the mrs even made it up Snowdon but the weather was rubbish for photos at the top. We did see some nice animals though, the big black pussycat didn`t look too friendly so we kept our distance...

A feast for the eyes again.
I like the misty pics of Snowdon and the railway line disappearing into the mist.
I have set off up Snowdon and it has been a beautiful day at the bottom, but by the time I have reached the top it has been shrouded in mist.

Thanks, just in case you hadn`t guessed, the animals were from Chester Zoo, I`m not a big fan of zoos but the Mrs wanted to go.

Went up on the train...my climbing days are long gone.
I think the climb up there would take me far too long these days...in my head I can do it....but my body has different ideas altogether.

The original plan was for the mrs to go up on the train and walk back down with me (with me walking via Crib Goch if the weather was good, i`ll do it some day), but she`d told people at work she was going up Snowdon and they assumed she was walking so she felt she had to walk it. She struggled towards the end and is still very achy, but glad she did it.
I would need two paramedics and oxygen by the time I got to the top.......I have walked it once, but when I was young and in my prime and on that occasion we went up from the Llanberis side.......again, it was very nice and sunny at the bottom, but misty and wet at the top.

Assorted squirrels with peanuts ... and what made the critters leave: my friend Toby whom my neighbor took in after the winter of '13-'14. She eventually came and got him, threatening to rip off his tail, cut off his ears with blunt, rusty scissors, burn off his whiskers, and nail his feet to the floor. She doesn't like it when he escapes, and would rather have him home where she can spoil the crap out of him.
