I was in the Blind Welfare Society yesterday with my camera and decided to try out a new lens I have.
It's has a fantastic range for 18mm to 300mm.
Nothing special, just messing about. All untouched or modified.

No 6. Taken from same spot as the train.

I am not a big fan of bugs, but I do like your pics Dianne....you have captured these insects beautifully.
The butterfly is gorgeous, and the flying thing with its wings folded(not sure if that is a butterfly too) reminds me of my tiffany style lamps that I bought a couple of months ago.....when our refurbishment was being completed.
Lovely work.

Today it was the take down of the pics in the exhibition.
I brought mine home, they are framed and awaiting a man with a hammer to put them up on my wall.
Picture to follow.

It's good to see your Ma home and looking good, Margaret. Your photos for the competition are great - they should have received recognition
There were some far better than mine that received no recognition.
I like the ones I submitted and they are going on my wall now they are framed.
I have found a man, but he has mislaid his hammer

Glad your mother is on the mend M,as for the "exhibition",hmmmm....I think it was fixed either that or the judges had been in the pub all morning
Your pics look splendid framed,a lovely addition to anyones home but as you took the shots even more so.
I bet you could make a bob or two selling your B&W images (framed) on a well known auction site

Jason someone else who has seen my framed pics said exactly the same thing.
It would have been good to know how the judges came to their decisions. That said, there were a lot of very very good pictures, so it cannot have been an easy job.
Yes Ma is improving, but she will stand watching......I am sure she will be pushing the boundaries when my back is turned.

Today was a very long walk over Pendle Hill, I just kept saying "will just look over the next hill" and by the time there were just to many more hills to look over, I had walked and snapped away from the car for about 2 hours, and applying the theory of relativity I guessed it would be the the same time to return. This proved to be incorrect, by not stopping as often to take photos and walking in straight lines I made the return journey in just over an hour.

If you want your pics back then you need to contact them.....I was told that any that were not picked up by the owners would be destroyed.
When I went into the library a lot of the pictures were still on the display boards.
If I had taken the picture that you submitted I would definitely want it back....it would be framed and on the wall.
Now where IS that hammer?
