I somehow don't think it appropriate to click the like button, however thanks for sharing, and I understand your sadness.
I understood that it would not be something that got 'likes'....it was just that this was what my day held.
Yes it was a sad day, and yet there was an air of peace and it was good to see how many people had respect for my little brother.

Sorry for your loss, Margaret. Your little brother John was taken much too soon. It sounds from your blog, that he did a lot of good for animals. That is something to be proud of.
Yes he did Carolyn..He worked his socks off.....he only had to receive a call that an animal needed to be rescued and he would jump in his van day or night.....and pick it up.
He will be missed.

Went a ride out to C'roe today.
Here are some pics from my day.
The elderly buses were taking passengers for free rides around Blackburn...it is heritage weekend.
Those of you of a certain age(and you know who you are) will feel pangs of nostalgia for the last two pictures.

Good to see the old number 9 Blackburn Express......used to be ten minutes from Accy centre to Blackburn centre .

Today we set off in the rain, it was moistly fine when we reached Jackhouse reservoir, and stayed fine for the walk, despite me waterproofed up to the gunnel's.
