1-4: Last weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving, and it came with gloriously perfect weather. It was cool, but sunny and bright to show off the fall colours. We went for a little drive, and I shot a few snaps through the windshield. This weekend it's much colder, with a biting wind and on again off again sleet. Glad we got out and about last week!
5: Miss Pris enjoys 'helping' on laundry day
6: Yesterday: a storm blew in
7: During recent Geocache 'treasure hunt' outings: I liked this tree to photograph even better than I enjoyed putting my hand down inside its trunk to retrieve the cache.
8: Putting my arm down these holes was not my idea of fun. I almost got stuck, and had visions of having to call the fire brigade to get me un-stuck! What's worse, the geocache container, about the size of a peanut butter jar, slipped from my gloved fingers and sank deeper into the crevice, completely unreachable. Sigh!
A short walk that took a long time to complete, I am easily distracted, the new paths around Wilson's Playing Fields on a day when the sun was shining and the birds were singing.
Not a picture from today, but one I have been 'playing with' today.
This is a section of a bouquet Ma got for her birthday almost a month ago.....the flowers lasted three weeks and were beautiful....this picture is a permanent memory for Mum.
I have printed it out onto a card for her to keep.
A Lilly and a Rose

Yes, it will be a reminder of those lovely blooms.
I did a coloured version, but I really do prefer the black and white version.

walk past this car often, thought it was time for a few photos
Well, blow me down. I have never seen this car before...but looked at your pics Rob...and guess what? Coming back from Ma's at lunchtime there it was heading over the canal bridge in Clayton.
How weird is that?
