I was up at Ma's and two young deer walked across the path making their way up to the top path of Priestley Clough.....not something that I can ever remember seeing up there when it was my playground.

I was up at Ma's and two young deer walked across the path making their way up to the top path of Priestley Clough.....not something that I can ever remember seeing up there when it was my playground.
I also saw a deer with a white rump, no idea of species, it was in the field between me and Rothwell House, it didn't bolt away just strolled passed me so it must be used to people being about.

There seems to be a few deer around we see two or three sometimes at the back of the college football field towards Broad Oak

A couple of years ago I had never seen a deer in the wild, but the last two seasons I have come across deer in various locations throughout the borough.
