Looks a bit dramatic Frank.
I can taste the salt on my lips.
Young lass had fallen of her horse The air ambulance was circling for a bit before it landed then it landed on the beach were the lifeguard was treating her along with the paramedics from the ambulance.
Firstly, I'd like to say that I've been following the Referendum with great interest, and while I don't feel qualified to weigh in on the subject, I feel proud of the outcome and the courage of my Accrington friends, however they voted.
I have great hopes for the future.
Now in an effort to catch up, I'd like to post a few snaps over the next few days. Summer has come to my part of the world like a switch has been turned on. We warmth-starved Canucks have gone a little mad. These are from my garden, and the surrounding area. Miss Pris has to come into it at some point, of course Also the Celebration of my Aunt's Life was held in a perfect summer day this June. She always took bad weather as a personal affront, so for her day to have had fair weather was wonderful. The box held her favourite sweets: Licorice Allsorts.

Great pics ... love that cat ... she looks as if she is plotting to take over this spiral arm of the galaxy ... cats think big.
I remember my grandad used to sing that song for my gran and me. Her name was Sarah, by the way (altho' she always went by "Sally") And half way thru he always added "Eee by gum she's a champion."

The pictures of the strawberry jam made my mouth water.
I am not a lover of strawberries, but I love home made strawberry jam.....and I usually buy a jar if I get to a farmers market.
Glad you are getting some sunshine....the flowers look lovely too.

A couple of times a year, I try to get up to Ottawa to visit my Mum, sister and nieces. Sister lives right on the Ottawa river, and has all the toys to go out on the water. I prefer to stay on land, but just to sit by a large body of water always has its appeal for me.
My Mum's pup Lexi is the cutest little thing, but is proving to be a handful. At 86, I think my Mum forgot what a challenge it can be to train a young dog, but so far she's managing.
Leaving Lexi at home, I took my Mum on a jaunt to a nearby town called Almonte. It has a wonderful main street full of interesting shops and cafes. It's so nice to see old buildings being re-purposed but their charm intact
