Don't expect anything for a while - I have to RTFM first (read the f....... manual) before I can safely ignore it....
Was going to suggest they'd make great cards Sue when I saw your original ones.

I think I missed about photoscape -is it something to do with Flicka?

Some nice effects.

Re: Today in pictures

Its very easy to get carried away -this is such an interesting thread.

Cutting down to just 5 photos a day each will be hard to do...

Thanks Dianne - it's very easy to play with.

It's a free editing software which you can download from various sources. Just Google PhotoScape and see what comes up... Nothing to do with Flickr, which I'm not interested in.

Will have a look see!

Just seen I wrote "Flicka" -who is of course a horse!

Perhaps we could try and persuade Mick to allow us 10 photos a day which is what the attachments pop-up is geared to - resizing them beforehand of course....I only learned to do that recently!

Lots of folk won't go over and look at the Flickr pics.......we all spend idle moments looking at different threads on Accyweb, because we are on here, but navigating to Flickr may put some people off...it wouldn't put me off, but I'm nosey.

Yes there's definitely a doppelganger on there...

Purple pillar box didn't bring you up but I found the Dracula pics!

Actually what I usually do is find davemac's page and then click on you on one of his comments or as a contact. He seems to be building up quite a fan club!

Re: Today in pictures

Part 1. Today in Pictures, almost a boundary walk, Clayton, Church, Oswaldtwistle Rishton and back to Clayton. I think I was in Altham as well but don't know which bit!

1. Start point.
2. Swing bridge as we hurtled towards Church.
3. Bindweed at Church.
4. Swing bridge at Church.
5. Church Commercial, and other buildings
6. Looking back as we barge on.
7.8. 9. 10. The next four are of the coke ovens, I was amazed at how they had fallen to vandalism and neglect.

Re: Today in pictures

Part 2. Today in Pictures, past the halfway point.

11. Upon reflection a group of golfers.
12. Just as we left Ossy, a train on a bridge over the canal.
13. Heading for Rishton a pod of swans.
14. Made it to Rishton dip, and went mooching.
15. This fungapus was at the corner of Petre Road and Blackburn Road Clayton, and I was on my knees in rush hour traffic.
16. Another fungapus and in the same location, also on my knees.
