His bloods worth bottlin'.
I used to like the D&B in the stone bottles but it doesn't taste like that anymore.
D&B and sarsaparilla were my childhood favourites...we only got them once a week when stantons came round with the pop wagon.

Tuesday 13 June, after the trauma of "Pedestrianisation", I was allowed to drive again so it was across to Augsburg for dinner in the "Alte Schlachthof Viertel" (The old slaughterhouse quarter) where in the "Kalbe Halle" (Calves Hall) Hasenbraü have now set up shop.
Alte Kalbe Halle (front & side, if you look closely you can see the old rings used for tying up the beasts), the way in to the Brewery, Ah bliss, the story of how the beer got its name & the Beer garden (can you spot the Witchy one? ) - Schloss Kaltenberg (Konig Ludwig Dunkel Brauerei) - Konig Ludwig Wirtshaus - Shouldn't have nicked that hunters Beer! - Fliegerhorst Penzing (Luftwaffe) - Transall C160 doing take off & landing drills.
So Wednesday 14 June came around it was off to where my single life began its demise oh so many years ago ..... Sonthofen & the Allgäu. Think Heidi, the sound of music & Bell & Sebastian you get a general idea of the place then.
Sonthofen (x4) Hirsch Brauerei gasthof & Hotel, surrounding mountains, formerly the "Schwarze Peter" (it was better looking place then, like many things at the time) one of the places where my fall from grace began , time for a spot of "Man Shopping!" - It doesn't get much more picture book than this - That reminds me, we need to pick up some Beers for your mum! - The river Lech by Lechbruck - "WiesKirche" pilgrimage chapel - A local farmhouse - Need I say anything?
Thurs 15 June 2017, in certain states it was a religious holiday so the roads were heaving & so were the attractions. We headed off towards the "Bayerische Wald" & would you believe it, there are at least 3 (THREE)Brauereien within half an hour of each other! How amazing is that? There's other stuff to, so we did that first to prevent an outbreak of hostilities.
Weinfurtner "Das Glasdorf" (x4) all kinds of decorations made from glass produced on site & various shops selling the stuff too - Dampfbier Brauerei Zwiesel - (x3) Oh look, a "Zitronen Falter" (a German play on words there), a cool refreshing cloudy, lemony shandy from the JB Falter privat Brauerei in Regen, the "Bier Garten" & the Brauerei Gasthof with the old boy at the "Stammtisch" - (x2) Tiesnach, the "Ettl Brauerie" Gasthof & Coppers.
Our final day in Bayern so it was a bit of local shopping for goodies to bring home, a nip in to Parsdorf & of course the "must" while in Munich, a trip to Aying for our midday munchies.
The "Segmuüler Wies'n" was happening when we visited (x3) - (x6) Dinner in the Biergarten at Aying , little did we know it was also going to be a way point for an oldtimer Beamer rally & we even saw "Elvis" I kid you not! admittedly looking a bit grumpy, but hey, so would you be if you'd had no dinner ) - And the last shot, a young Falcon getting a bit emotional about being out in the big wide world.
loved all the germany photos. What a lovely looking place!
