There is a follow on to this story. This shopping trip happened about 30 years ago, we had one daughter, she was about five, she was always going on about having no brothers and sisters and no pets. This is how Misty came into our lives, she was a beautiful cat, she also had kittens, we kept one from the last litter and my husband called him BIFF, now we thought this was an OK name, until our neighbours moved in next door, or through the wall as they would say in Scotland, they came from Whitehaven. We used to shout the cats in for there food, always using there names. It took my new neighbour ages to tell me that every time we shouted BIFF, they couldn't stop laughing. A BIFF in Whitehaven is a POO. I did laugh.
Anyway we have a new grey kitten called George, hope that's not an Accrington name for a POO. Royce is not to happy but is coming around, the dog is fine.

I don't think I've been to the Woodlands in almost 30 years, my Dad was the Steward at the Top Club around 1988-90ish I guess (they lived just of Devonish Drive - York Close)

Its not the same now, the new paths make it a much more interesting walk.
Finally decided to have a wander down the cut bank yesterday. Couldn't be bothered carting the heavy stuff about so just took a little bridge camera.
This is one I really like and I think it looks good the wrong way up.2nd one.
Titled "Reflections in the cut". No fancy post editing. Just snaps.
