Thanks, it was getting late when I managed to get out and the sun was low in the sky so lots of shadows.

They are all great shots, but my favourite is number 1.
Winter would be much easier to bear if we had a few more of that kind of blue sky.
Yes, I know that the head banging low cloud, grey days make us value the blue skies more.

Not been a great day for photography, however came out of Asda to see that there was a nice sunset in the offing, couldn't get too far so this was from the dual carriage way near Express Gifts in Church.

Now I like that.
The colours remind me of a very lush ice cream sundae...strawberry and vanilla with chocolate sauce.

Thanks Margaret, it does pay to always have your camera with you. I was lucky with the flocks of birds at the top, unfortunately the bottom third of the image had a field full of those really big metal shipping containers... so they got cropped and darkened out...

It was two sites really, one was St Mary's Burial Ground (Burnley Road out of C-L-M.) then across the road to the lane that takes you up to the canal, just passed Silcocks Winter storage site. Park at the top of Bell Lane and you can walk to the sites.

Thanks, yes, I know where both those places are, never been but driven past many a time.
