I'm Not Fat!. It's this fur that makes me look big! It's poofie....
She really isn't fat, the vet weighed her in July this year and said she's about the right weight for her size.... Whenever she sits on the back of the sofa like this, she always looks bigger than she is....
Awww....I love that pic....but I have never met a cat I didn't like.
(I now have four of the furry felines....two chosen and two brought in from the cold....abandoned creatures)

Nice shots gpick24. I know exactly where you were stood to take some of the photos. I miss going there since my partner upsticks and moved back north. I spent a lot of time in the area with her for just over a year.
Thanks Gremlin, most were taken from around the red & white fence you can see in the last photo.
It was a good day for a change, probably last 4 or 5 visits there`s been nothing flying while i`ve been there.
Do you ever go further round and climb up the little man made hill? Room for a few cars there as well. I've been searching for the ones I took but they don't seem to be on this PC. I had a look in the working workshop hangar once as well. Very interesting and the chap who showed us round was very clued up.

I have been on "the mound" but not often, where I park depends on the direction the planes are taking off.
Wish I`d been up there though for the F-15s fly past.
I was looking at some paintings of steam trains on the ELR today in a gallery in Ramsbottom, so I wanted to try and achieve a similar 'painted effect' using a photograph I took this evening, this won't be to everyone's taste, but I got somewhere close to what I envisioned with this image done using Nik HDR Efex Pro.... The original image was taken around 3pm, so the sun was close to setting, though I did reduce the colour temp to make it slightly more bluer....
