Beautiful shots there....doesn't everything look green and spring like?
It seems the tres have come into leaf all of a sudden.
Number two is a very atmospheric shot.

Some from today, it was fairly grim today in Accrington, but around 16:30pm decided I would go out to the seaside at Morecambe and Heysham as the skies looked a lot brighter out that way.
The first two are of Morecambe Bay taken at Morecambe, the third is at Heysham...
I've just had five happy days in Oban, Mull and Iona.
No 1, Oban bay. McCaig's Tower is on the top.
No 2 and 3, View of the harbour and bay from the tower.
No 4 and 5, Iona.
No 6 and 7. St Columbo Abbey on Iona.
No 8 and 9, ships that pass in the afternoon.
No 10, Iona beach and main street in the background,,,,Only street I could find.

No 1, Inside the Folly or McCaig's Tower.
No 2, Oban harbour.
No 3, Our digs in the middle , taken from the ferry.
No 4, Colourful boxes.
No 5, Passengers view from my car. my lass was driver.
No 6, Damn bird wouldn't stop looking at me through the bedroom window.
No 7, Trawler in Oban.
No 8, ropes
No 9, Trawler just leaving and mate looking back.
No.10, Connel bridge. It used to be a railway line bridge and they had ferrys to get across the loch but when the railway closed they made it into a single track road controlled by traffic lights. The first time I was there the ferrys had just been berthed and were not in use.
A walk down the river.
1. A Sandmartin
2. Daisy & Duke.
An early start today
3. A faint sunrise rainbow.
4-9. RAF Leeming.
10. Menwith Hill, a rare peek inside one of the giant golf balls.
I remember back in the 60's when I used the A59 a lot, the radar dishes were still uncovered and it was only later they covered them and then people called them golf balls
I made a special effort today to go into Accrington to see the vintage bus festival on the Town Square. Say no more, apart from the oil left a mess for someone to clean up.
Yesterday...the lad and me took off for the day.
Moving people were running a trip to Liverpool...so I booked for both of us.
We had an absolutely BRILLIANT day...there was only one thing wrong with it...it came to an end far too soon(though that wasn't the opinion of my feet.
I am going to blog about our day...but in the meantime here are a few pics of the day.
1) Love locks...these are place by couples, they lock them onto the barrier and throw the key into the Mersey...aah, sweet!
2) A statue of a workhorse.
3) the Clown - SuperLambanana...a japanese take on GM foods(though this was designed by a liverpool schoolchild,
4) Well four has to be the Fab four.....my era, my teen dream and so lifelike you expect them to sing(though a bit larger than life...but then THAT fits too)
5) the fab four(I know you can onl see three) with the Liver building as a backdrop.
6,7,8) the heads of the fab four.
9) Cilla...outside the Cavern clb in Matthew St
10)George Harrison.

Nice one Margaret.. I'm glad you enjoyed your day out and thanks for the photos. We have been with moving people a few times and always enjoy their choice of venue. That was one we missed out on.
