We're civilised in Morecambe - no one gets kicked out, we stay and drink all night - at least that's what the other half said when he rolled in at 2am on Saturday morning!

I misunderstood, I didn't think they were the bears in question, they don't look like bears, but then again I don't look like George Clooney, more like Rosemary, I'm rambling again, OK nurse ill get back in bed.
My contribution to the thread. Was at Accrington Cemetery last thursday, researching WW1 Soldiers. Found two Grave markers I'd missed. They are badly in need of cleaning. C.W.G. will be told. Retlaw
I am always seeing pictures and thinking.....I wish I had taken it....feeling slightly...ever so slightly envious..but not in a nasty way. Anyway Sue....Glad you liked it.
Sometimes it is just a case of being in the right place at the right time....and having the right bit of kit in your pocket or hanging round your neck.
I'm sure photographers are also a bit like fishermen...there is always the one that they didn't manage to capture.......wasn't fast enough, hadn't got the camera...or whatever excuse springs to mind.
And Dave will attest, some of the pics we take, are the ones we nearly didn't bother with...they usually turn out the best.

Just for Davemac .A picture of Dean wood taken from our bedroom window at the top of Sandy Lane Attachment 23169
I can see it from my back bedroom window as well, its like Blackpool Tower, you see it in all directions, although it does look close to your house, the power of the zoom, a useful tool.
Today in Pictures, what started as a short walk took me to Whitebirk Shopping Estate (The Rocket Centre )
1. Start point Cutwood Park, I intended to go home after this.
2. Well, I'll just watch the dinghy's for a while.
3. I'm mooching now, not a good sign.
4. That reminds me, the canal is just over there.
5. Well.......... a bit of a walk on here whilst its fine.
6. This is the bridge that takes trains over the Whitebirk Drive area.
7. Turn around and head home.
8. Glad it stopped fine, so far.
9. Almost at Rishton, lichen on a dead tree branch.
10. Hypericum growing wild on Cut Lane. on the way back to the car.
And there you have it, a short walk that took over two hours.
