Thanks Margaret, it is indeed Scotland.
I’d be even more impressed though if you (or anyone else) can ID the (beautiful) car in pic No. 9. No peeking on Flickr.

Thought it was Scottyland, Urqhart castle loch ness? The other ruins are the they the ones on the Isle of the lords? As to the Motor, an old VW Golf or a Ford RS, am I even close?

Cars are not my forte.....and I would be daft to try and identify something that is not my forte, in silhouette......I thought it might be a VW Jetta....see told you I was daft

Correct for urqhart castle, the other is ardvreck castle on loch assynt.
I’ll give a clue for the car, 3 words, first word begins with L.
I’ll try and post a brighter pic later.
Nope...even with a clue I am no nearer...but the shape looks like an older model...perhaps 1980's

Nope...but I like the colour. It looks a bit 'boy racer-ish'....and I don't mean that nastily...I mean it looks like the kind of car a young man would lust after...but no clue as to what it is.
Is it yours?

A road version of a rally car so very much a boy racer, if legit this one is also very rare.
From Wikipedia only 220 made, Lancia Delta Integrale evo2 Giallo Ginestra. Probably worth a bob or two and not mine unfortunately.
I have heard of Lancia but not this particular model.....but then, that is no surprise.
All I require in a car is that I can get in and out, that it runs and gets me from A to B.....my needs are humble...no need for speed anymore.
