What the heck?
Approaching Accrington along Hyndburn Road we reach the viaduct roundabout and what do we see? A cardboard cutout crown?
It's being propped up at the back. What does that say in the white banner at the front? I think it's meant to refer to the Queen's 80th birthday but looks more like it says "Fils 50" Who the heck is Fil?

Today all has become clear. The purple flowers have come out a little more and now it clearly says "PALS 80" so was nothing to do with the Queen's birthday!

I think it's meant to say PALS 90 but the flowers have joined up at the bottom left and it looked more like 80!
