Re: Advice on my new scouting / guiding websites

Looks good, the scouting video is at Bowley? not the first time thats happened.... lol

The one main thing that I would ask is do you have permission from the parents of all the children who's images you have put online?

I can't see a "group news" type section, or is that dealt with by the events?

Thanks for viewing and commenting. All parents have filled in forms for permission so that is covered. I have an events page, which if i can will rename to group news. Thanks

Re: Advice on my new scouting / guiding websites

Hey, it's a lot better than many other scouting sites I have seen.

One thing I might add, is perhaps add a section/area that only the members can log into to play games, message each other about scouting stuff etc.
moderate & police membership well though.

Looks like your on the right track and I,m sure it will continue to grow as people give you feedback. Your providing an excellent service for the youngsters and should be congratulated for your dedication. I was in St. Pauls scouts from around 1955 to 59 and we had some great times, summer camps at the Scilly Isles, Arran and Jersey were highlights, weekend camps down the Ribble Valley, hikes through the Trough Of Bowland, oh yes and we also had a great football team, unbeaten if I remember. Anyway, well done. Ex Gannet Patrol.

Many thanks for the support. We have a football competition coming up soon with a district and a county, lets hope we can win and add to your record.
