any tips or advice on arranging a dinner dance?
Has anyone ever arranged a dinner dance.?
Im thinking of putting one on for SOS but I have never done anything like that before. I know what I want and how I would like it, I also have a possible venue and contacts for entertainment, but thats it Any tips or advice please before I make a decision. ?   |

Make sure they all sit down to eat the soup, or the dance floor will become extremely slippery.

The main thing is to get a good caterer, seeing your out on the coast, can't help in that direction, but there are some very good ones around here, or there was a few years ago. Kate was right about a speaker, and for your cause you could just get one free. another way is to contact local buisness to sponsor the event by taking a table at a set price for, say six covers, and of course a must is a raffle and even a tombola. Hope that is of some help
