Re: Bloody cats

I need what energy I have got to look after myself, without having the needs of a pet to tend to. Before my very elderly cat died a couple of years back I decided that I wouldn't have another.

Some people need them for company. Although I am alone I am not lonely and do not feel that need.

Every neighbour I have met so far has been helpful and friendly.
Today, the family next door returned from holiday, which explains why I hadn't seen them before. They helped my son gain access to my meters in the communal areas. A family nearby took in a parcel for me when I hadn't heard the buzz from the access system at the entry door.

They all seem nice people.

Re: Bloody cats

We had a "wanderer" last night as well, I found a rabbit leg under the bushes. Time to set the cat trap, I've trapped 24 cats over the past two years, admittedly 18 were kittens, they went in the trap 4 or 5 at a time.

Re: Bloody cats

The recent showers seem to have activated the lion aroma.
Cats walk past now and give me filthy looks

(neighbours still smile though)

It isn't real lion poo - it is fertilizer impregnated with 'lion poo essence'

Silent Roar Cat Deterrent Repeller Lion Manure Pellets Garden Fertiliser 500g | eBay

"The pellets are soaked in real essence of lion dung, dried and sterilised. As cats are territorial, even the bravest will retreat with they smell a lion.

An environmentally-friendly product which contains no artificial chemicals."

I wondered the same but it could be that due to being derived from the same basic species they can tell it is the smell of a another cat - and stronger smell = bigger cat.

I can't smell it - but cats obviously can

That new tenant a little bit strange I think, she must have retired from the circus because, when I walked past her balcony I got the distinct aroma of lion crap, think she must spread it around to remind her of when she worked in the big top!
Wait till the real lions get a whiff of her shoes Less, strange things lurk on't to'ther banks of t'Hyndburn.
And then there's the "Mad Axeman of Norden Brook" yet to put in an appearance.

Re: Bloody cats

Bull terrier poo doesn't work, in fact bull terrier doesn't work either. The lady next door has five cats that couldn't give a monkeys about my dog. I have to check they are not lounging in the garden before I let him out. More for his safety than theirs. I'm sick of finding cat turdlets all over the place.
